Questward is a calm, private app for turning your days into quests — track a Main Quest, smaller side quests, and daily habits, build streaks, and keep a journal. Everything stays on your device as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

How to do the key things
Daily quests and streaks
Daily quests are the habits you want to keep. Each daily quest has its own streak:
- Complete a daily quest to advance its streak for that day.
- Streaks are meant to encourage momentum, not pressure you. Questward is built to be calm: no nagging notifications, no dark patterns.
Quests, objectives, and the archive
- Create Main and Side quests, each with their own objectives.
- Check off objectives as you go to track your progress through a quest.
- Completed quests move to your archive, where you can look back on what you did.
- Use search to find quests, objectives, and journal entries.
Journal
Write journal entries tied to your days, or jot down anything you want to remember.
Export Backup — and where the file goes
The export feature is a way to keep a copy of your data. To export:
- Open Questward and go to Settings (the tools area).
- Tap Export Backup.
- Questward creates a single JSON file containing your quests, objectives, daily quests, streaks, journal entries, and settings, and opens the standard iOS share sheet.
- From the share sheet, you choose where the file goes — for example, Save to Files (on your device or in your iCloud Drive), AirDrop it to another device, or email it to yourself.
The file goes where you send it. If you choose "Save to Files," it goes to the folder you pick in the Files app (on your device or in your own iCloud Drive). The app does not send the developer a copy of your export. Please note that there is no import feature and Questward does not support importing your data into the app.
